A sedentary lifestyle is real for many of us with a 9-5 job sitting behind a desk, facing longer commutes, or just not moving our bodies often enough. Especially in recent years, there's been more research emerging about how sedentary behaviour increases health risks in both the short and long term. The sticking point... no matter how active you are - you may still be at risk if you spend most of your waking hours sitting.
The good news is, we can change from a sedentary way of living to an active one!
